Cairo Citadel Festival Is Back: 10 Nights of Music You Don’t Want to Miss

Need plans for your August nights in Cairo? The Citadel International Festival for Music and Singing is back, bringing 10 nights of live music to one of the city’s most iconic historic spots. From August 15 to 24, the historic Salah El-Din Citadel will come alive with performances by some of Egypt’s favorite singers, bands, and musicians. Expect everything from classic Egyptian songs and indie favorites to Sufi music and orchestral performances.

The festival is organized by the Cairo Opera House under the Ministry of Culture, with tickets starting from just EGP 100.
