You Can Now Make Your Own Pizza on a Boat in the Nile

If you’re looking for a simple, fun plan with friends before summer gets too hot, this one is worth booking early. There’s a new experience on the Nile by il Nilo Ristoro and La Maison Rose Boat, and it’s as straightforward as it sounds: a boat ride with a pizza-making station on board.

You get on a 1.5-hour ride, and everything is already set up: a chef, all the ingredients, and the oven. You can make your own pizza while cruising, or skip that part and just order directly from the restaurant menu.

You can even request a caricature artist on board, which is a nice extra, especially if you’re going with a group. Sunset is the best time to go, and after that, the vibe turns a bit more lively. Booking is required in advance.

Here’s how it works:

• Standard ride: 1,260 EGP per person
  (Pizza-making experience +250 EGP)
• Private couples ride: 4,000 EGP total
  (Pizza-making +500 EGP)

Each booking includes:

• One main course
• Cheesecake dessert
• One soft drink

If you don’t want food included, you can book the boat only:

• 1-hour private ride: 1,750 EGP (up to 10 people)
• Extra guest: 250 EGP
• Extra hour: 1,500 EGP

You can also bring your own food or order from the restaurant.
