All the beaches are spread across one 24 km seacoast divided into 3 parts: free, special and touristic. Each area has its own charm and set prices.

The Free Beaches

Free entrance. You can rent either an umbrella for 3 EGP and a chair for 1 EGP, or bring your own and pay nothing.

These include the 22 service beaches where you can rent an umbrella and chair for 5 EGP, and pay 2 EGP for available services.

Special Beaches

These are 20 beaches in total in Alexandria. Here you pay an average of 10 EGP per person for an umbrella and chair, as well different services including bathrooms and changing rooms.

Tourist Beaches

If you’re looking for unmatched tranquility and privacy, then make your way to the tourist beaches which are also affordable at a 15 EGP entrance fee.
