King Farouk’s Historic Tea Room Is Now Open To The Public

For the first time in 84 years, a magical part of Alexandria’s history has come back to life. Built back in 1936 and located in Alexandria’s Montazah Palace, King Farouk’s legendary tea hall was once an exclusive spot for royalty before it bid the city goodbye. And now, a whopping 84 years later and several restorative efforts, everyone can enjoy a visit to this historic space! It has been opened up to the public. A ticket to enter is EGP 75 and includes a drink – so would you visit?
