Egyptian feature film “Souad” has been officially selected for the Cannes Film Festival 2020 lineup in its 73rd edition, which was previously canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The movie was directed by filmmaker Ayten Amin, and was co-produced by Mark Lotfy, Mohamed Hefzy, and Tunisian producer Dora Bouchoucha.

“Souad” previously won the Projects in Development Award at the Gouna Film Festival in 2019, and is now making yet another appearance at one of the world’s most prestigious award shows.
