Egypt Imposes Night-Time Curfew To Slow Coronavirus Spread

During a news conference, Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has announced that the government will be imposing a two-week nightly curfew across the country.

Starting today, an 11-hour curfew, from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., will be implemented in Egypt.

He said many kinds of transportation will be halted during that time-frame as well.

This comes as part of the country’s latest measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
