Egypt’s Meteorological Authority has warned of a wave of unstable weather that will last until Saturday, with heavy rains that mount to floods. Director of the Weather Forecasting Department at the authority Mahmoud Shaheen called on citizens to wear heavy clothes and to avoid engaging in maritime activities and speeding on the roads. The authority also said that the country will witness thunder and heavy rains which will amount to floods in different parts of the country. Shaheen also added that Egypt hasn’t witnessed such harsh weather conditions since 1994. Stay safe!
