Egyptian Presidency Announces 3 Days of National Mourning Following Mubarak’s Death

The Egyptian Presidency has announced three days of national mourning following the death of former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, who passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 91. A statement from the Egyptian Presidency read: “[Egypt is] declaring a state of general mourning throughout the nation for a period of three days for the death of former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak.” The Presidency extended its sincere condolences to Mubarak’s family, with the three days of mourning to begin on Wednesday.
