In its Middle East Edition, the popular business magazine Forbes published their 2023 list of most powerful businesswomen in the region. The 100+ entry list included 104 women from 27 different sectors and 27 nationalities.
Egyptian women scored 12 places, coming after UAE’s 15, and these brilliant women deserve to be praised to the skies! Here is a list of the most powerful Egyptian Businesswomen.
Dalia El-Baz (13th on the list)
Topping the ranks of Egyptian businesswomen, Dalia El-Baz is the first female serving as an Executive Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt.
Pakinam Kafafi (21st on the list)
The CEO of TAQA Arabia and a board member of the British Egyptian Business Association, Pakinam Kafafi led her company to sign an MoU with the Egyptian government in cooperation with France’s Voltalia for a green hydrogen production facility in the Suez Canal zone.
