Afrosh el-mlaya<\/strong>: usually used by Egyptian women, meaning she was ready to fight. It refers to the black abaya women wore mid-20<sup>th<\/sup> century that was taken off and sit on it if she wanted to fight. <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>3. <a href=\"https:\/\/lite.almasryalyoum.com\/lists\/144327\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shoubash<\/a><\/strong>: refers to the statues placed on the graves of the deceased that are believed to be reciting prayers. Nowadays it means \u201crepeat after me and mark my words\u201d.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>4. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=495908628183080\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rajol mka7ka7<\/a><\/strong>: someone that has become old, useless, or of little value<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>5. <strong>Ya 3ara<\/strong>: a bad person with poor morals and everyone must be ashamed of them<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>6. Zeeta w zambleeta<\/strong>: screaming and noise<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>7. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yeiNguEPEyo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marmata<\/a><\/strong>: used to threaten someone, meaning you will cause them a lot of pain and humiliation. It is of Pharaonic origin. <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>8.<\/strong> <strong>Shalaq<\/strong>: refers to women who frequently fight loudly and use swear words<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>9. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sLCJvVPCY9w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ent bi2a awy<\/a><\/strong>: describes a person who uses vulgar language, a lot of swear words, and doesn\u2019t know how to behave properly in public<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>10. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=707372890450705\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Flan da sharabo kharj<\/a><\/strong>: the person is useless, neither \u201cloose nor tied\u201d. People also say <em>kheekha<\/em>.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>11. Albes 3ashan kharjeen<\/strong>: \u201cwe are in a crisis\u201d. People also say <em>nalbos fi el-7eet<\/em>.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>12.<\/strong> <strong>Al-shakrmoon taakh fi el-trarlolli<\/strong>; refers to a big failure or horrible situation.
