Jordanian Woman Files For Divorce After Husband Insists On Naming Children “Absi & Nameq”

A rather controversial story has been making the rounds on social media of a Jordanian woman who filed for divorce due to her husband’s insistence on calling their new borns “Absi & Nameq”, after the characters of popular kids show “Adnan and Lina”.

According to news outlets, the woman was not able to change her husband’s mind on the naming of their twins, so she had to resort to divorce.

This provoked a rush of mixed reactions on social media.
