Nubian Museum


The Nubian Museum is an archaeological museum located in Aswan, Upper Egypt. It was built to a design by architect Mahmoud El-Hakim for an estimated construction cost of LE 75 million. This museum traces the history from the earliest settlements to present day of Nubia. It is a showcase of the history, art and culture of Nubia.




Nile Museum



The three-story building spanning over 146,000 sq metres of land, the Nile Museum exhibits antiquities that tell of the body of water’s history, and photos that illustrate river projects and the development of irrigation techniques since Ottoman rule.



Elephantine Island archeological site and museum





The Elephantine Museum is located on on the south-eastern side of the city’s Elephantine Island in the River Nile, located just downstream of the First Cataract.
